The experience
This tour is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to swim and snorkel with these majestic sea creatures, which can reach up to 12 metres in length.
The tour begins with a boat trip through the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, where whale sharks are found. Once you spot one of these enormous animals, the tour's expert guides will teach you the proper techniques for swimming and snorkelling with them. In addition, the tour includes snorkelling equipment, life jackets and free water and soft drinks on board.
During the tour, you can also see a variety of other marine animals, such as dolphins, turtles and manta rays. The guides provide information about the local marine life and ensure that all whale shark protection and conservation regulations are respected.
The tour schedule varies according to the season, but usually starts early in the morning, around 7:00 am, to avoid the crowds of other tourists and to have the best chance of seeing the whale sharks. The tour lasts about 8 hours, including transportation to and from your hotel.
