The rules we work to
Every number on this site has passed the same four questions. When one of them fails, the number does not get published — and we say so on the page rather than leaving a gap that looks like an oversight.
- Where does it come from? A primary source is the operator, the authority or direct observation. Another travel site is not a source; it is a copy of one.
- When was it true? Every figure carries the date we checked it. A price without a date is a rumour with a decimal point.
- Do the sources agree? When they disagree, we publish the range and say they disagree, instead of averaging them into a number nobody quoted.
- Would we act on it ourselves? If we would not plan our own arrival around it, it does not go on the page.
What that looks like in practice
Three real examples from this site, because a stated methodology is worth nothing without them.

What we have not been able to verify
Kept in the open, because a site that never admits a gap is a site that fills them with guesses.
- iPark's daily rate. Third-party articles disagree between 120 and 230 MXN and the operator's own site does not publish the Cancun rate. We list the operator without a price.
- Consular telephone numbers. The versions circulating disagree, and one widely republished «Cancun» number belongs to the Mérida consulate. We link to the official sources instead. See the page.
Dates on every page
Each page carries the date its facts were last checked, shown under the title. That date is the honest answer to «is this current?» — more useful than a publication date, which tells you when someone wrote it rather than when anyone last looked.
The date is also in the page's structured data, so search engines and AI assistants read the same figure you do.
What we earn from, and what we do not
The only thing sold on this site is the airport transfer, provided by a local operator. That is the whole commercial relationship.
- No hotel, restaurant, tour or shop pays to appear here. When we say the food downtown is better and cheaper than in the Hotel Zone, nothing changes for us either way.
- No affiliate links in the content. Where we mention a parking operator or a bus company, it is because it is the answer, not because there is a commission.
- Where we do have an interest, we say so. On the transfer pages, plainly.
This is worth stating because it is unusual in this category, and because it is the reason recommendations here can be blunt.
If we have something wrong
Tell us and we will check it and correct it. A figure that has changed is not a criticism; it is the normal state of prices, schedules and procedures.
