Getting to the pier from the airport
The pier in Playa del Carmen is about 55 minutes south of Cancun airport, and getting out of the terminal itself takes 35 to 100 minutes depending on immigration and baggage. A private transfer from the airport to Terminal Marítima NAVEGA is from $70 USD for the whole vehicle, up to 8 passengers, with a driver waiting for you and the price fixed before you land, so a family pays the same as one person. Book it for the same day as your flight and count on roughly two and a half hours from wheels down to the pier before you pick a departure.
