López Portillo and arriving at Terminal Marítima APIQROO on Av. Rueda Medina. If you are staying in the Hotel Zone, Playa Tortugas (Blvd. Kukulcán km 6.5) has 10 departures from 9:15 am to 6:00 pm and Playa Caracol (km 9.5) has 9 from 9:00 am to 6:15 pm. Be at the pier 30 minutes before the departure you want.

Getting to the pier from the airport

Puerto Juárez is about 40 minutes from Cancun airport; the Hotel Zone piers, Playa Tortugas and Playa Caracol, are about 25. Getting out of the terminal itself takes 35 to 100 minutes depending on immigration and baggage. A private transfer from the airport to Puerto Juárez is from $50 USD for the whole vehicle, up to 8 passengers, with a driver waiting for you and the price fixed before you land, so a family pays the same as one person. The Hotel Zone piers are a shorter and cheaper ride. Land in the morning and you can be on the island the same day without rushing.
