Air traffic in June, only 5.1% of the figure obtained in 2019

The Cancun International Airport (CUN) announced in recent days that total passenger traffic for June 2021 reached only 4.6 million passengers, compared to 4.8 million in the same month in 2019. This 5.1% decrease reflects a lower demand for travel in general, added to the restriction in certain countries of the world to contain the spread of the disease caused by the COVID-19 virus.
