Get to know the beautiful colors of a natural reef and the incredible artificial reef, created to help natural reefs. It is a perfect place for beginners and experienced divers!
The underwater museum of art MUSA, is an art collection that serves as an artificial reef and its purpose is to help natural reefs. It was a small project that, in 2009, had only three sculptures, nowadays there are more than 470 real-size sculptures!
You will be able to see an immense number of colors in our natural reef, which pools an endless number of fish and sea turtles. The shallow waters provide a calm sheltered snorkel site.
Check in half an hour prior to departure. Departing from Aquaworld Cancun: The Paradise Snorkel tour offers snorkeling on Punta Nizuc as well as a visit to the Cancun Underwater Museum. You will be taken on a motor boat to Punta Nizuc’s reef area where you disembark to the floating platform. The platform allows for comfortable water entry and exit so this tour is great for kids.
Duration: 2 hours (or stay out on the platform and snorkel again).
